Pink Beach - An exotic scenery

Indonesia has dozens or even hundreds of beaches with stunning natural charm. However, the beaches on the island of Komodo have a mainstay which can not be found in anywhere else. The grains of sand on the beach is pink that’s why it’s called pink beach, while local people named it as Red Beach. The sand is very soft. The color of the coral red reef derived from microscopic animals called Forminifea. These animals live among coral reef or rocks. Red coral in the sea is constantly eroded so the pieces were scattered among the sand so as to form a pink tinge. The colors of red or pink are more visible to the waves lapping the shoreline.
